Outdoor WiFi at North Cave Primary School

North Cave Primary School, in East Yorkshire, have recently expanded their outdoor teaching space to include a wildlife garden and pond.

Double Click IT were asked to supply and install an outdoor WiFi solution to enable the students to use their personal learning devices around the school grounds.

The solution included two high-power outdoor wireless access points, fitted with omni-directional antennae.

New servers for Neptune Sonar

Neptune Sonar have invested in two new servers to support their growing operations at their site near Driffield, East Yorkshire.

Back in January 2011, we supplied and installed a Kell Systems server cabinet. The new servers have simply slotted into this unit.

Using proven HP Server technology, the upgrade work was completed over the course of a weekend, minimising disruption to the business.

Interactive kiosk for Neptune Sonar

Neptune Sonar, near Driffield recently exhibited at an international trade show, held at ExCel in London.

Double Click IT were asked to provide an touch-screen kiosk for this show, to showcase their interactive catalogue of products.

The kiosk was branded with their company colours and logo and also featured a promotional slide show while not in use.

The unit generated a lot of attention with interested customers able to use it as a self-service tool to find product information.

Preferred data contractor to Elloughton Primary School

Elloughton Primary School, in East Yorkshire, have submitted proposals to build a three-classroom extension at their site near Brough.

The new space will feature state-of-the-art teaching spaces, with integrated audio-visual systems, wireless networking and flexible learning areas.

We are delighted that Double Click IT have been named as the school’s preferred data contractor for this work, due to be completed this summer.

As the school’s technology partner for 12 years, we have an in-depth understanding of how the school uses ICT to enhance learning and have been able to advise and inform the architects of their requirements.

Exhibition Stand design for Neptune Sonar

Neptune Sonar, near Driffield, will be exhibiting at Oceanology International next March.

We have worked with local company Jenko to design and produce a brand new exhibition stand, featuring popup array and custom plinths to display products.

For the week of the event, we will also provide on-site support in London to set up and clear down the stand in a timely manner.

Spring Cottage Primary School – Whole-site wireless network

Spring Cottage Primary School, in East Hull, approached us to design and install a whole-site wireless network to enable their students to make effective use of mobile learning.

Their fleet of 30 Fizzbooks were struggling to get online and access the school VLE or other content.

We installed 14 high-power wireless access points across the school site, enabling staff and students to get connected in any area of the school buildings.
